Sarah Adsit

Sarah is a former student in from STSRG. She obtained her master's degree in Transportation and Infrastructure Systems program at the Lyles School of Civil Engineering. She is originally from rural Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor's degree from Penn State in Civil Engineering, with a focus on transportation. As a senior undergraduate student, she worked to develop a simple teaching and research traffic simulation tool using JAVA. In addition to her studies, Sarah was a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) International and the Purdue Student Chapter. She was an active member of the Penn State Student Chapter and a participant in the ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl at the district and national levels. Her research interests include the impact of transportation on local economies and societies, and active transportation. She currently works in McMahon Associates inc. in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
